Josey Hutchins, DVM, is an emergency veterinarian at Memphis Veterinary Specialists & Emergency in Cordova.
Dr. Josey Hutchins is originally from Grenada, MS. She received a Bachelor of Science in Food Science, Nutrition, and Health Promotion from Mississippi State University in 2014 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University in 2018. After graduation, she completed a one-year small animal rotating internship at BluePearl Specialty and Emergency Hospital in San Antonio, TX.
After completion of her internship, Dr. Hutchins moved to Memphis where she practiced for 2 years at a small animal general practice. Dr. Hutchins lives with her husband and their two pets, a golden retriever named Neely and a red tabby cat named Ollie.
Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing tennis, exercising, cooking, and playing the piano.
