What Sets Us Apart
At Memphis Veterinary Specialists & Emergency, we stand apart. Our team of veterinary professionals works together in our state-of-the-art facility to ensure that your pet’s needs are provided for at all times.
We are the only vet of our kind within hundreds of miles.
We are the only veterinary hospital to offer 24/7 emergency care within hundreds of miles. We are pleased to provide veterinary care to local pets as well as those who come from great distances to see us.
We are staffed with board-certified veterinary specialists in a range of veterinary specialities.
A veterinary specialist is a veterinarian with additional training in an accredited veterinary speciality. To become board-certified, they must complete a 2-3 year residency, an original research project, publication in a scientific journal, and completion of a multiple-day comprehensive exam. Once these requirements are met, the resident becomes a diplomate in their specialty, giving pets access to advanced specialized care.
We work as a team with your primary care veterinarian to treat your pet.
We think of ourselves as an extension of your pet's primary veterinary care. We provide specialty veterinary services that go above and beyond traditional veterinary medicine, and work closely with your primary care veterinarian every step of the way.
We are the only veterinary facility in Western Tennessee with an on-site CT scanner.
We have an in-house laboratory and use advanced diagnostic technology to diagnose conditions in pets and make a plan to treat them.
We provide care in a state-of-the-art facility.
Our hospital was designed to meet your pet’s specialty needs. We use the latest in veterinary medical tools and technology to provide the most complete and exceptional care possible at our state-of-the-art facility.
From Happy Pet Owners
“What a wonderful alternative when something happens to your babies outside normal vet hours. They treated us and my kitty like family. Explained everything and fixed him right up. He’s not enjoying the cone, but his stitches look great. Thank you to the whole team!”
