Laura Bahorich
Laura Bahorich, VMD, is an emergency veterinarian at Memphis Veterinary Specialists & Emergency in Cordova.
Dr. Bahorich is a Pittsburgh native. She received her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Dickinson College and completed her veterinary training at the University of Pennsylvania. She moved to Memphis in 2011 to further her veterinary education through a small animal rotating internship at Memphis Veterinary Specialists and loved it so much, she never left!
Dr. Bahorich also supervises the hospital's employee-pet blood bank and performs radioactive I-131 treatment for hyperthyroid cats.
In her free time, Dr. Bahorich owns and operates a fitness center with her husband. When not enjoying the thrills of after-hours ER, she enjoys spending time with her children, Stanley and Josephine, her Great Dane (Satchmo), and adorable orange kitten (Macaroni).
