Your First Visit to Memphis Veterinary

Your First Visit

A referral from your family veterinarian is required prior to making a new consultation appointment with a MVS specialist. Please arrive 20 minutes early to your first visit so you will have time to complete your pet’s medical forms. We strive to maintain our appointment schedule, emergency cases may occasionally preempt and delay your appointment.

What to Bring

Please bring any pertinent information from your referring veterinarian, including x-rays, blood work, medication types and dosages, and a complete medical history. The more information you provide, the more effectively we can diagnose and treat your pet’s medical condition.

What to Expect

Upon arrival, you will fill out a new client information sheet. You will then be shown to an exam room, where a technician will meet with you and obtain a complete medical history. Prior to seeing the Doctor, your pet may be taken into the treatment room for examination. After examining your pet and reviewing their medical records, the Doctor. will consult with you regarding your pet’s condition and discuss any diagnostic recommendations and treatment options.
