Pets rarely go home the same day they have surgery. Communication between you and the MVS staff with updates is very important. We will call you after surgery, but if you have not heard from us by 5:30 p.m., feel free to call for an update. A doctor will not always available to talk to you when you call, but a technician will be glad to answer your questions and address any concerns. If there are any changes in your pet’s condition, a doctor will inform you of this immediately.
