Oncology
Cancer is a growing problem among our four-legged companions. MVS's oncology service uses cutting-edge diagnostics and treatments to give our cancer patients the best possible care, while emphasizing a good quality of life. We believe decisions must be based on the latest advances in medical knowledge, as well as compassion and the individual needs of the patient. Consequently, MVS offers a wide array of cancer treatments including surgery, immunotherapy and chemotherapy.
If your veterinarian has suggested the need for additional testing to diagnose your pet's condition, or if he or she has made a cancer diagnosis, ask him or her if MVS may be a resource for your pet’s care. Dr. Hillman, our specialist, is the only board certified veterinary oncologist in the West Tennessee and Arkansas area. Our team-oriented approach allows us to formulate a well-balanced diagnostic plan tailored to the needs of your pet, as well as a comprehensive and coordinated course of treatment. We strive to provide continuity of care, compassion, and the highest quality specialty care available.
