    Kim Golden, DVM, Associate Veterinarian Internal Medicine

Dr. Kim Golden grew up in Rhode Island. She graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in the West Indies and finished her clinical year at the University of Florida. Following graduation, she completed a rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Bay Area Veterinary Specialists outside of San Francisco, CA. Prior to accepting an Internal Medicine internship at MVS, she worked as an emergency clinician in Virginia Beach at Beach Emergency Veterinary Specialists. Her hobbies and interests include running, soccer, traveling and spending time with her cats Mia and Wilson and her dog Guinness.
  John Sessions, DVM, Diplomate ACVIM

Dr. Sessions graduated from the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in May of 1999. After graduation, he completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. He then completed a second one-year internship at Texas A&M where he practiced internal medicine exclusively. In August 2001, he began a 3-year residency in internal medicine at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, which he completed in August of 2004. He joined Memphis Veterinary Specialists shortly thereafter as staff internist. Dr. Sessions is board certified in small animal internal medicine as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.

Dr. Sessions has extensive experience in endoscopy, abdominal ultrasound and echocardiography. He has a special interest in cardiology, gastrointestinal diseases, and infectious diseases of dogs and cats. His research experience includes investigating the cellular effects of NSAIDs on the canine stomach, joints, and blood. He has also published journal articles on certain bacterial infections, central nervous system disorders and reproductive disorders in dogs. In his spare time, he enjoys playing guitar, jogging, and supporting his 2003/2007 National Champion LSU football Tigers and 2009-2010 NFL Champion New Orleans Saints.
  Danielle Bayliss, DVM, MS, Diplomate ACVIM

Dr. Danielle Bayliss graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. After graduation, she completed a rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Cornell University Hospital for Animals in Ithaca, NY. Following her internship, Dr. Bayliss pursued additional training in internal medicine at Colorado State University, where she completed a 3-year residency program. During the course of her residency, Dr. Bayliss also achieved a Master's Degree in Veterinary Clinical Sciences, with an emphasis in feline infectious disease. Her research has recently been published in the Journal of Feline Medicine and Surgery. She is now board-certified in internal medicine, and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.

Dr. Bayliss has advanced training in the fields of infectious disease, liver and gastrointestinal disease, urinary tract disease, and respiratory disease. She has a special interest in endocrinology, as well as extensive training in general and interventional endoscopy.

Dr. Bayliss joined Memphis Veterinary Specialists in August 2008. When she is not practicing veterinary medicine, she enjoys wakeboarding, traveling, and playing with her dogs, although her favorite pastime is playing and cuddling with her brand new baby girl!
